Batts Media Group Shines at Kappa Alpha Psi’s St. Jude Sunday of Hope

The spirit of community service and philanthropy was alive and vibrant as the Batts Media Group took part in a significant event hosted by the San Antonio (TX) Alumni Chapter (SAAC) of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc. This collaboration with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas, was not just an event; it was a testament to the deep-seated values of giving, support, and hope that define these organizations.

Under the steadfast leadership of SAAC Polemarch, Bro. Richard “Flip” Wilson, the chapter saw over 50 of its members come together for one of the fraternity’s largest giving initiatives in the region, all in support of the St. Jude Foundation. This year’s St. Jude Sunday of Hope was not just about donations; it was a powerful demonstration of what it means to be a part of a community that cares deeply about the welfare of others, especially the most vulnerable among us.

The event took a special turn with Pastor Jerry William Dailey of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, and a proud member of the SAAC, putting a spotlight on the importance of dedicating time and energy to causes that make a difference. The Batts Media Group was honored to provide photographic coverage of the Pearls in the Park Event, a centerpiece of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Alpha Tau Omega Chapter’s (ATO) Sisterhood Day. This event, thoughtfully organized by sorors SchRhonda Hudson and Tarolyn Eskridge, radiated the essence of togetherness and camaraderie.

The Pearls in the Park Event was a celebration of sisterhood, family, and shared moments of joy.
