Coder Dojo Collaborative Event Photo Shoot:

Batts Media Group was delighted to capture the completion ceremony of San Antonio Coder Dojo Collaborative. The San Antonio Coder Dojo Collaborative is an innovative program that facilitates an engaging learning environment that centers around the development of critical thinking and coding. Technical mentors teach youth 7-17 years old coding platforms such at Scratch, JavaScript, Python and Raspberry Pi The program also helps to develop vocational skills in Cyber Security, Game Design, and App Development. Watch this amazing group of kids do great things.

This year’s event was capped with intricate presentations on cyber security and app development. The keynote speaker, Dr. Travis Batts, challenged the audience to appreciate the true meaning of C.O.D.E. (Creating Opportunity by Delivering Excellence). The quality of the products the students was only overshadowed by the pride that was reflected in the eyes of parents and mentors alike.
