Alpha Phi Alpha 2019 MLK Dream Week Breakfast Project Overview:

The Alpha Phi Alpha Educational Fund of San Antonio in conjunction with DreamWeek Summit 2019 celebrated their fraternal Brother Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy. Their focus is to honor Dr. King as they raised money for scholarships during our 31st Annual MLK Scholarship Breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Antonio Airport. This year they had the Texas House 120th District Representative, Barbara Gervin-Hawkins, as their guest speaker.

Batts Media Group had the opportunity to photograph the San Antonio event, making an effort to capture the essence of the fraternity and its brotherhood.

The Alpha Phi Alpha Educational Fund of San Antonio is the non-profit charitable arm of the local fraternity Chapter. It provides financial assistance to deserving students graduating from high school and matriculating to college.

We can’t wait to see what the Alphas have planned for their next event, The First Annual South Texas Alpha Derby on May 4, 2019 at Retama Park in San Antonio, Texas.
