Batts Media Group is thrilled to spotlight an event that embodied tradition, elegance, and brotherhood – The 92nd Annual Black and White Ball hosted by the San Antonio Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Kappa Alpha Psi, a fraternity that has been a pillar of community, education, and achievement since 1911, hosted their annual Black and White Ball. The event stood as a testimony to the fraternity’s unwavering commitment to uplifting their members and contributing positively to the society around them.

The Black and White Ball was no ordinary affair. It was a celebration that blended style with substance, serving as a platform for recognizing outstanding contributions within the fraternity and the local community. The event was an exceptional blend of elegance, featuring a sophisticated black and white theme, underlined with the bond of brotherhood that Kappa Alpha Psi proudly promotes.
Marking its 92nd iteration, the Ball was an exquisite evening of fellowship, music, and inspiration. The highlight of the evening was the special guest performance by the renowned Right Now Society (RNS) Band. Their soulful melodies and high-energy performances added an unforgettable rhythm to the evening, elevating the celebratory spirit.

Attendees experienced a lively atmosphere brimming with energy, camaraderie, a shared vision for progress, and the unforgettable sound of RNS Band that reverberated in everyone’s hearts. We joined in applauding the San Antonio Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. as they continued to inspire and drive meaningful change, one event at a time.

N.D. Kalu Youth Football Camp Event

Batts Media Group is delighted to bring to you a spirited chronicle of an inspiring event – the N.D. Kalu Youth Football Camp was held at Cornerstone Christian Schools in San Antonio, Texas.

Former NFL Defensive End N.D. Kalu, known for his ferocious tenacity on the field, showcased his commitment to mentoring future generations by hosting the camp. The event was a thrilling convergence of sport, education, and community development. Adding to the high stakes atmosphere were several NFL greats who lent their expertise and shared their experiences with the enthusiastic young participants.

One of the unique facets of the camp was the integration of holistic athletic education. Distinguished orthopedic surgeon Dr. Antonio Webb delivered an enlightening discussion based on his book, “Overcoming the Odds.” His presentation served as a potent reminder of the resilience required, not just in sports, but in all walks of life.

The event also brought to the forefront critical health issues concerning athletes. Renowned sports cardiologist, Dr. Travis Batts, presented his groundbreaking program – Everyone Can Assist, or E.C.A. The program emphasized the importance of healthy lifestyles for athletes and shed light on the often overlooked topic of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in athletes. E.C.A gives young athletes the ability to learn basic life saving techniques and exposure to Automatic External Defibrillators (AED).

The N.D. Kalu Youth Football Camp went beyond the traditional boundaries of a sports event. It was a melting pot of athletic training, inspirational talks, and crucial health education. The fusion of sporting icons with medical professionals offered an enriched learning environment, molding our youth into well-rounded athletes equipped to tackle any challenges they may encounter on and off the field.
